Domestic Goddess was created especially for this 2024’s edition of Hero of Switzerland.

Sculpted from a used cleaning cloth (j cloth) and immortalised into print, this figure is a play on one of the earliest representations of the human form: the Venus of Willendorf. Created c.29,500 years ago, very little is known about her origin or purpose. She may have been a representation of: a goddess, a fertility symbol, a maternal figure, or merely an aphrodisiac made by men for the appreciation of men…
